Rooted in the discipline and craft of film photography, my work carries an analog sensibility, an attentiveness to light, texture, and composition shaped by a slower, more deliberate way of seeing. This foundation informs every project, guiding an approach that favours observation over assertion and restraint over excess.
The work seeks moments where structure and intuition intersect. Rather than directing or embellishing, I am drawn to what already exists: gestures, rhythms, and quiet tensions that unfold naturally. The photographs privilege authenticity over pose, intention over spectacle, and subtlety over emphasis - inviting the viewer into a space where narrative emerges through nuance, balance, and the passage of time.
This philosophy extends into the final physical expression of the work. Prints are produced using traditional chemical-based photographic processes (C-prints / chromogenic silver halide). Chosen for their smooth tonal transitions, deep blacks, and natural rendering of skin and colour. Crafted through professional lab printing and meticulous colour management, each print preserves the depth, nuance, and tactile qualities that define my approach. Honouring the integrity of the image from capture through to final form.
