Between Memory + History

A seed is planted and with time, roots commence their entwining journey. An idea is born in the same way – a mere organism, but very alive and awaits its nourishment found in experience and experiment. Memories are valuable in their ability to bind things together, but can also cause pain- remembering a kinder time. The mystical tree, while strong in its roots, history and multiplicity, sadly still demonstrates fragility because of its environmental dependence. The far off mountain tips, wearing but a sprinkling of snow, remind one of an ever changing world, threatening a dire new history. Yet, as roots hold strong and ideas bounce around, hope will always exist.
